Alderwood Primary School is a values–based education community dedicated to the care and development of the whole child. Our values underpin everything we do from our broad and balanced curriculum to how we treat each other and our environment, every moment of every day. Our school prides itself on its calm and purposeful environment where the children feel supported, challenged and extended. The School Council plays a fundamental role in whole-school decisions, ensuring our children have a deep understanding of their role in society as thinkers and leaders of change. To prepare our children for life in the 21st Century, we strive to build intellectual minds capable of flexibility, problem solving and tackling challenges with a growth mindset. We nurture the whole child ensuring the children receive a range of challenging, high quality experiences at our school. We provide an annual programme of educational visits using our local environment and the advantage of being situated in Greenwich and London.
