We welcomed our new NQTs to Willow Dene yesterday for the start of their induction programme. It was an opportunity for NQTs to meet their peers who will be working across our schools, and to gain an insight into our approach to teaching and learning.
They heard from NQTs who are just finishing their first year with us, and had the opportunity to spend time visiting classes at Willow Dene and meeting children, in order to get an understanding of the provision at our special school. They will spend this week in the rest of our schools, ahead of starting in class in September. Feedback on the day was very positive, particularly in relation to the class placements. We wish our NQTs all the best as they start to prepare for their roles and look forward to working with them next year.
