We are pleased to announce that Wingfield Primary School, with whom we have worked in close partnership since 2014, has now converted to academy status and formally joined our Trust on 1st April 2021, following unanimous agreement by its Governing Body. Deansfield has had very busy week! Our Chamber Choir was down to the final of the choir of the year competition. This was held on Monday at the Royal Festival Hall. Not only did the children get to compete against the UK’s top 24 choirs but they had the opportunity to perform to all of their families in the evening.Details
At Horn Park, we are passionate about books and inspiring a love of reading. This week we have had a week-long programme of festivities in honour of World Book Day. On Monday we welcomed children’s author Chris Callaghan, who met the whole school and discussed his book, ‘The Great Chocoplot’ and his life as an author.Details
At Alderwood we have been using our local offer to enhance the learning experience our pupils receive here through various trips such as year 2 visiting the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. This brought to life the pupils’ learning as they have been looking at the great explorer ‘Scott of the Antarctica’ within their History unit of learning.Details
