Yesterday, school leaders, trustees and governors from across four Greenwich multi-academy trusts (Compass, Inspire, Endeavour and Maritime,) came together to reflect on the power of partnership and how schools can work together to ensure that they are providing the best outcomes for the young people and communities that they serve.
We head from Jon Coles, CEO of United Learning, who encouraged us to seize the day and to recognise that now is the time for us to be driving the system and working collaboratively to achieve more for our children. We also heard from Robert Hill, former policy advisor to Prime Minister Tony Blair, who challenged us to think about where we are on our journeys as individual trusts and how we are organising ourselves to maximise our resources and outcomes for pupils. It was a thought-provoking evening and we look forward to exploring the themes discussed more widely, both as individual trusts and, as a wider group seeking to ensure the best education for all our children.
