We are pleased to share that Luton Infant & Nursery School, who we have been working with in partnership for over two years, and Luton Junior School, have joined us as Associate Members.
July 1st 2018 marked one year since we came together as one legal entity and formed our multi-academy trust. It has been a busy year in which we have strengthened our existing partnership of schools and built on the ways in which we collaborate together.
At Wingfield results at all key benchmarks this year have been incredible and that is testament to the complete drive and determination of all the staff at Wingfield. Our Year 6 performance of ‘The Lion King’ this week again is a statement of our intent and drive – as a school we are committed to ensuring our learners have full access to the arts as part of our curriculum offer.
This year the Chamber Choir from Deansfield Primary School in Eltham joined 6 other choirs to compete in the Junior Choir category of the annual Llangollen Choir Competition.
Schools from across the partnership took part in our very first Compass Sports Day. This wonderful day gave our children the opportunity to both compete and collaborate with their peers across our schools.
We welcomed our new NQTs to Willow Dene yesterday for the start of their induction programme. It was an opportunity for NQTs to meet their peers who will be working across our schools, and to gain an insight into our approach to teaching and learning.
